Phase one, aka “Body Reboot,” includes seven days’ worth of food: three meals and two snacks (a bar and shake). MYTH. Because carbs affect blood sugar levels so quickly, you may be tempted to eat less of them and substitute more protein. But take care to choose your protein carefully. This is a show where the sense of humor is as much part of the premise as time, location, or relationships – the way Amy Sherman-Palladino's fast-paced writing informed the speech patterns of every character on Gilmore Girls. Every character on this show is self-deprecating, keenly aware, and vocal about their lives with a meta-quality that on most shows would make commentary redundant.

The dissonance and irony beget comedy gold – the best laughs are always unexpected.

I just completed my 3 days on this diet and lost a full 10 pounds Its amazing!! I used everything just like the menu except for the carrots cause I forgot to buy some so I substituted Them with Green Beans & note: I Did not have time to exercise much besides regular household cleaning & laundry. The first stage of the diet aims for rapid weight loss (13 lbs in two weeks). Phase 1. This two-week phase is designed to eliminate cravings for foods high in sugar and refined starches to jump-start weight loss. You cut out almost all carbohydrates from your diet, including pasta, rice, bread and fruit. You can't drink fruit juice or any alcohol. Joel and Sheila stake out Loki and debate the possibility that he was turned into a zombie. With no resolution they go to a party at Dan’s house and Joel has to lie to Dan about Loki. Sheila realizes she left a pen with her contact information at Loki’s house. Abby and Eric have a hard time recovering from the kiss. Dan wants Joel to kill another guy who he claims is a bad guy but when Sheila goes to kill him it turns out to be the guy Lisa is having an affair with and she does not kill him. Abby and Eric plant a flash bang in Dan’s rose garden to freak him out. In the process they find a stash of money concluding Dan is a dirty cop. Joel runs into Loki’s friends and is held hostage. They knock him out but he is OK and he finds the pen. Joel and Sheila decide they are going to do everything together moving forward. Joel confronts Dan telling him he will not be killing people for him anymore. They get into a fight and Joel kills him with a shovel.
